INTRODUCTION

Learning HTML (HyperText Markup Language) can be fast, easy, exciting, and fun... with the right combination of a few simple things:

  • Someone with a desire to learn,

  • Something (such as this tutorial) or someone (like me!) to guide you through the process,

  • A text editor in which to type in your HTML code (Either NotePad or WordPad are most common and on every PC running Windows),

  • A place to put your Web pages (There are many free Web space sites!),

  • A Web browser with which to view your work (like Internet Explorer, which is the one that I use for testing, or Netscape).

Each chapter of the HTML Tutorial can be found in its entirety on this site. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact rivermoo@rivermoo.com or quilting@quiltingpassion.com

This tutorial is not intended to be all-inclusive of everything you need to know about HTML, however, it is intended to give you a solid foundation to begin creating your own pages.

Good luck in your endeavor to create Web pages that are totally unique to you!
